Title: Don’t let chemotherapy scare you
“Chemotherapy is something that scares everybody. It scares me, and I’ve had a lot
of chemotherapy, but you can’t let what could happen or what has happened to somebody
else scare you. Everybody responds to chemo differently, and you need to ask as
many questions as you can find about the chemo that’s being proposed to you, and
find out from as many different medical sources as possible what to expect. And
I think ruling chemo out or saying, ‘I’ll never do X,’ is sometimes the worst choice
you can make. You can’t fight cancer with just one weapon in your arsenal. It’s
not a one-weapon kind of disease.”
